In fields, rose clover is often cultivated as an intercrop. The plant is ideal as green manure because, like all clover species, it can capture nitrogen from the air with the aid of a symbiosis with specific bacteria. Red clover may also be utilised in vegetable gardens to increase the soil's nutritional content. As an alternative, it can be gathered and fed to animals as feed.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Wild Italian Crimson Red Clover seeds from April to August. Thinly sow seeds into trays or directly into the ground (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from May to September.
