Silver Princess Dwarf Shasta Daisy – 600x Seeds – Compact Perennial For Borders

The Silver Princess Dwarf Shasta Daisy (Chrysanthemum maximum), a small perennial that is ideal for borders, containers, and rock gardens, will add structure and brightness to your landscape. This neat cultivar, which reaches a height of only 25 to 30 cm, blooms in abundance from early to late summer with traditional white daisy flowers that have golden-yellow centres. It is perfect for front-of-border planting and small areas due to its tidy, clump-forming tendency. Silver Princess grows easily and, once established, can withstand drought. It prefers full light and soil that drains well. Plant seeds outdoors in late spring or indoors from February to April. The plants will consistently reappear each summer after flowering in the first or second year. Pollinators adore it, and it makes a colourful, long-lasting show in any garden when cut into flowers.

Growing Instructions:

From February to April, plant Silver Princess Dwarf Shasta Daisy seeds indoors in seed trays with damp, well-drained compost. Seeds require light to sprout, so lightly press them onto the surface without covering. Germination takes 14–21 days, therefore keep the temperature between 15 and 20°C. When seedlings are big enough to manage, move them into pots to harden off before planting them outside following the last frost. In May or June, you can also seed immediately outdoors. prefers soil that drains well and full sun. Although early sowings may flower in the first summer, plants usually flower from June to September in the second year. To promote longer blooming, deadhead. Durable and low-maintenance, ideal for pots and borders.
