Pink Jewel Showy Fleabane – 500x Seeds - Erigeron Speciosus - Hardy Perennial
Use Pink Jewel Showy to add gentle, upbeat colour to your garden garden. The resilient perennial Fleabane Daisy (Erigeron speciosus) is renowned for its profusion of daisy-like blooms with golden-yellow centres and delicate pink hues. This little, low-maintenance plant, which blooms from late spring to summer, is perfect for pollinator-friendly gardening since it draws butterflies and bees. It looks great in borders, rock gardens, wildflower areas, and cottage-style planting schemes. It grows to a height of around 30 to 60 cm. Once planted, it can withstand drought and thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, returning year after year.
Growing instructions:
Erigeron speciosus, often known as the Pink Jewel Showy Fleabane Daisy, can be grown from seed indoors in the early spring (February to April) or directly outdoors after the risk of frost has past. Because seeds need light to sprout, place them on the surface of moist, well-drained compost and gently press them in. Do not cover. Germination usually takes 14–21 days, and the temperature should be kept between 15 and 20°C. When seedlings are big enough to manage, move them into separate pots or straight into the garden, leaving a 25–30 cm gap between each one. Select a spot with well-drained soil that is either sunny or partially sheltered. When young, water often; once established, the plants require little care and can withstand drought. Daisy-like pink blossoms that draw bees and butterflies start to bloom in late spring and last through the summer. Deadheading spent flowers will help keep things looking neat and promote more blooms. This perennial will come back year after year, slowly creating eye-catching clusters of vibrant, long-lasting colour.
