Mizuna yields an abundance of deeply cut, spicy-flavored, green leaves and the stem is crisp and white in colour. It's not quite as spicy as some of the salads. The plants are hardy and tolerant of extreme cold.
Growing Instructions:
From March to July, sow thinly, 1.5 cm deep, into carefully prepared, well-dug, healthy soil that has already been watered, right where they are to crop. Typically, seedlings emerge around 14–21 days. No thinning is needed, but during dry months, keep the plants well-watered. Every three weeks, regular sowings will guarantee a steady supply of Mizuna throughout the year.
