100x Giant Sweet Red Ball Cabbage Simple to Grow Seeds
Giant Sweet Red Cabbage Ball is a flavourful, nutritious, and visually appealing dark burgundy red cabbage that is easy to grow. It yields crunchy, firm, and crisp hearts that are delicious roasted, raw, or pickled in vinegar. A small-plot cultivar that is highly beneficial. Cabbage Red Ball spring sowings are available to harvest in late August, while July sowings are ready in late October. Crops harvested in late autumn are excellent for winter storage.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Giant Sweet Red Cabbage Ball seeds from March to May. Thinly sow seeds into prepared seedbed (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart so that they have space to grow larger. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from August to October.
