550x Dwarf Dill Forrest Dark Green Herb Leaves Seeds
Dwarf Dill Forrest Dark is grown for its lovely, wispy, feathery leaves. Its somewhat aniseed-like flavour is used to enhance many meals, but if used excessively, it may become overpowering. Both gardens and containers may be used to cultivate dill. The leaves are used to flavour vinegar, potatoes, fish (grilled and boiled), lamb, flowers, and soups and stews. A well-known Indian spice, dill seeds are frequently used in soups, breads, curries, and salad dressings.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Dwarf Dill Forrest Dark Green Herb seeds from March to July. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart as Dills can grow up to 1 meter tall. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from June through to July.
