A dwarf cultivar of the ornamental sunflower is called "Bambino" (Helianthus annuus). The plants may grow up to 40 cm in height at their tallest. From May to the end of the growing season, rigid stems are covered with single flower heads about 10 to 12 cm in diameter and made up of brown disc flowers encircled by golden-yellow ray flowers. It is advised to grow this cultivar near low borders or in containers.

Growing instructions:
 
From April to June, sow the Bambino Sunflower Dwarf seeds thinly, 1.5 cm deep, into carefully prepared, well-dug, healthy soil that has already been watered. Typically, seedlings germinate within around 14–21 days. keep the plants well-watered. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Flowering during July through to September.
