80x Pheasant’s Eye Blood Red Seeds – Adonis Aestivalis Annual Hardy Flower

Pheasant's Eye Blood Red (Adonis aestivalis), a hardy annual prized for its vivid, deep red blossoms, will add eye-catching colour to your garden. This striking bloom gives any landscape dramatic flare and seasonal interest, making it ideal for borders, rockeries, and wildflower meadows. It is simple to cultivate from seed, grows best in full sun and well-drained soil, and produces beautiful, delicate petals that make for a breathtaking display all summer long. Additionally, Pheasant's Eye draws pollinators, boosting biodiversity and helping bees and butterflies. It is perfect for both naturalistic planting schemes and cottage-style gardens because it is little but bold. These seeds offer a satisfying, long-lasting pop of colour that brightens outdoor areas and blends in well with other annual or perennial flowers with little upkeep.

Growing Instructions:

Sow Pheasant's Eye Blood Red seeds from March to May, either indoors for an early start or outdoors. Because seeds need light to sprout, use seed trays filled with moist, well-draining compost for indoor sowing. Cover seeds lightly. Trays should be kept at about 15°C in a sunny, cool place. Germination usually takes 10 to 20 days. When seedlings have a few true leaves, carefully transplant them, hardening them off before planting outdoors. In borders, rockeries, or wildflower areas, pick a sunny, well-drained location and space plants 15 to 20 cm apart. Enjoy vivid, long-lasting red blooms all summer long with little upkeep by watering sparingly during dry weather.
