7500x Poppy Papaver Nudicaule Iceland Mix Seeds
The Iceland poppy, also known as Papaver nudicaule, is an excellent addition to your summer border. Each large, saucer-shaped bloom opens to show petals made of crushed silk and a bright yellow stamen boss in the centre. For scattering over sunny borders, rockeries, and wildlife gardens, these bright short-lived perennials are typically planted as annuals. They add a vibrant burst of colour to the yard and go wonderfully with waving grasses.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Poppy Papaver Nudicaule Iceland Mix seeds from Spring through to late summer. In a sunny, well-drained area, sow sparingly from Spring through to late autumn. The seed needs the winter's cold to emerge from its dormant state naturally. If you sow it right next to established grassy areas, it won't grow well. After being sown, seeds can remain dormant for years, producing fresh blooms every year. This has the advantage of allowing the area or meadow to grow for an additional season. Avoid planting during the warm summer months since seeds will scarcely sprout and those that do will quickly die back. Poppy Papaver Nudicaule Iceland Mix flower from May through to August.
