The tiny, colourful blossoms produced by these Double Dwarf Pincushion Flower Seeds (Scabiosa Atropurpurea) are ideal for adding colour and charm to garden beds, borders, and containers. Throughout the summer, the double-petaled blossoms' vibrant purple, pink, and lilac colours make a striking show. This dwarf cultivar provides long-lasting blossoms on robust branches, making them great for cut bouquets as well as compact settings, patios, and pots. Even novice gardeners may easily cultivate Scabiosa Atropurpurea, which grows well in full sun and well-drained soil. These seeds provide your garden a dependable, vibrant, and low-maintenance accent.

Growing Instructions:

To grow Double Dwarf Pincushion Flower (Scabiosa Atropurpurea) successfully, sow seeds indoors from February to April in a light, well-draining seed compost. Press seeds lightly onto the surface, as they need light to germinate, and keep the compost moist but not waterlogged. Maintain a temperature of 18–20°C until seedlings appear, usually within 10–14 days. Once seedlings develop true leaves, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost, typically mid-May. Choose a sunny, well-drained site with fertile soil and space plants 20–25cm apart. Water moderately, deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooms, and enjoy compact, colourful flowers ideal for beds, borders, and containers throughout the summer.
