600x Nierembergia Hippomanica Purple Robe Seeds – Perfect For Hanging Displays
Nierembergia Hippomanica Purple Robe (Cupflower) is a beautiful trailing plant that works well for window boxes, hanging baskets and container displays. These seeds yield robust plants with delicate, cup-shaped purple blooms that bloom abundantly throughout the summer, producing a colourful cascade. Purple Robe likes well-drained, nutritious soil and frequent watering to sustain lush growth. It thrives in full sun to light shade. Because of its trailing habit, it is ideal for displays that are elevated and allow the flowers to cascade over edges. It is simple to cultivate from seed and improves the environment in your garden by drawing pollinators like butterflies and bees. Nierembergia Purple Robe is a great option for gardeners looking for striking, sophisticated floral arrangements because it requires little upkeep and produces long-lasting beauty.
Growing instructions:
Nierembergia Hippomanica Purple Robe can be successfully grown by sowing seeds indoors in seed trays covered with a light, well-draining seed compost between February and April. Because seeds require light to sprout, plant them on the surface and gently push to keep the compost continuously moist. Keep the temperature between 18 and 20°C; germination normally happens in 10 to 14 days. Transplant seedlings into individual pots after they have two to three genuine leaves, and once the risk of frost has passed, let them harden off outside in May. Plant 20–25 cm apart in full sun to partial shade in rich, well-drained soil. Water frequently, provide a balanced liquid fertiliser every two weeks, and let the trailing plants fall out of baskets or pots on their own.
