600x Mexican Tarragon Tagetes Lucida Seeds - Aromatic Herb with Orange Flowers
Mexican tarragon (Tagetes lucida) seeds, an aromatic plant valued for its culinary and decorative qualities, can enhance your kitchen and garden. These seeds develop into robust, bushy plants that attract pollinators like bees and butterflies with their delicate, single orange blossoms throughout the growing season. Mexican Tarragon is simple to grow in herb gardens, borders, or pots because it prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It adds flavour and aroma to sauces, salads, and teas with its sweet, anise-like flavour. This herb is perfect for gardeners of all skill levels because it grows quickly and requires little care. Tagetes lucida adds colour and utility to your outdoor area while providing year-round beauty, scent, and culinary diversity.
Growing Instructions:
In trays filled with fine, well-draining seed compost, plant your seeds indoors between February and April. Keep the compost moist but not soggy, and lightly cover the seeds because they need light to germinate. Germination typically takes 10 to 14 days, so place the trays in a light, warm place at 18 to 20°C. After the last frost, move the seedlings into separate pots and allow them to progressively harden off before putting them outside after they have two to three genuine leaves. Plants should be spaced 30 to 40 cm apart in a sunny, protected area with well-drained soil. During dry spells, water often and collect leaves as needed. This fragrant herb produces lovely orange flowers and fragrant foliage, and it grows well in borders, herb gardens, and pots.
