Compact and small-leaved, dwarf basil Minette (Ocimum basilicum) is ideal for both decorative gardening and use in cooking. Perfect for herb gardens, pots, containers, and borders, it forms tidy, circular mounds of aromatic foliage. Growing Instructions:

Sow seeds inside from March to May in trays or small pots filled with moist, well-drained compost to grow Dwarf Basil 'Minette' (Ocimum basilicum). Apply a thin coating of vermiculite or compost. Germination typically takes 7–14 days; keep at 18–22°C. After the final frost, usually in late May, move seedlings into individual pots or straight into containers or garden beds in a sunny, protected location once they are big enough to manage. Minette produces small, flavourful leaves on compact, dome-shaped bushes. Frequent harvesting postpones flowering and promotes bushy growth. Pinching off the tiny white blooms that bloom in the summer will keep the plant green and fruitful. Perfect for kitchen herb gardens, containers, and edging.
