Their daisy-shaped blooms give the garden a lovely movement as they open in the daylight and close at night. Growing instructions:
African Daisy Orange & Yellow Mix seeds need warmth to germinate, therefore in order to grow them successfully, start the seeds indoors between March and April. On the surface of moist, free-draining compost, plant seeds, then lightly cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep the temperature between 18 and 20°C until seedlings emerge. Pot them on and gradually harden them off until they have genuine leaves. Only after the last frost, which is often in mid-May, should you plant outside. African daisies don't like heavy, damp soil, so pick a place that is sunny, protected, and has sandy or well-drained soil. Once planted, water them sparingly because they are drought-tolerant by nature. Enjoy vivid orange and yellow blooms from early summer through autumn, and deadhead frequently to extend flowering.
