50x Mexican Butterfly Weed Red Seeds – Asclepias Curassavica – Hardy Perennial

Mexican Butterfly Weed Red Seeds (Asclepias curassavica) can draw colourful butterflies and pollinators to your garden. From summer to early Autumn, this hardy perennial is known for its vivid red-orange blooms that offer a lasting splash of colour. Mexican Butterfly Weed is a great addition to borders, wildflower meadows, or pollinator gardens because it is an essential host plant for monarch butterfly caterpillars. Once established, it can withstand drought and grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. This plant enhances your garden's aesthetic appeal and ecological worth while being simple to cultivate and care for.

Growing Instructions:

After the risk of frost has passed, sow Mexican Butterfly Weed Red Seeds (Asclepias curassavica) indoors 6–8 weeks before to the last frost. Use seed trays loaded with moist, well-draining compost for indoor sowing. After gently pressing the seeds onto the surface, apply a thin layer of vermiculite or compost. Keep the temperature between 20 and 25°C for germination, which usually takes 10 to 21 days. When seedlings are robust enough and there is no longer any chance of frost, move them outside. From midsummer to early autumn, this hardy perennial produces vivid red-orange blooms that draw pollinators such as butterflies.
