From mid-summer until the first frosts, masses of 13 cm broad daisy-like blooms emerge. Rudbeckia flowers get their popular name from the bright orange-yellow petals that arch back from a conspicuous conical disc in the middle. This perennial that resembles a shrub has upright stems with elegantly filled-in narrowly ovate leaves at the base. Growing instructions:
From March to June, sow thinly, 1.5 cm deep, into carefully prepared, well-dug, healthy soil that has already been watered. Typically, seedlings germinate within around 14–21 days. keep the plants well-watered. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Flowering during June through to October.
