500x Cymbalaria Muralis Seeds – Kenilworth Ivy Perennial Rockery & Ground Cover
Kenilworth Ivy, or Cymbalaria muralis seeds, will give your garden a hint of delicate beauty. This hardy perennial thrives in both partially sunny and shady spots, making it ideal for ground cover, walls, pots, and rockeries. Kenilworth Ivy, which is well-known for its trailing habit, produces pretty little lilac-purple blooms with ivy-shaped leaves that cascade over masonry or along garden edges. It is the perfect plant for gardeners who want to create lush, natural ground cover or soften hardscape areas with a pop of colour and texture all year long because it grows quickly, requires little care, and self-seeds readily.
Growing instructions:
Cymbalaria muralis (Kenilworth Ivy) can be grown from seed by either planting immediately outdoors in the spring once the soil has warmed up or by starting the seeds indoors 6–8 weeks prior to the last anticipated frost. Because the small seeds require light to germinate, gently push them into the surface of well-draining soil without covering them with soil. Maintain the soil at a temperature of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius and keep it continuously moist but not soggy. Typically, germination takes 10–21 days. Transplant seedlings to areas with partial shade to full sun, like rockeries, walls, pots, or garden beds, once they are robust enough to manage. To allow for trailing growth, space plants 6–12 inches apart. Kenilworth Ivy flower from June through to September.
