5000x Tussock Bellflower Blue Campanula Carpatica Seeds – Hardy Perennial
The hardy, compact Tussock Bellflower 'Blue' (Campanula carpatica) is a charming and colourful perennial that enhances rock gardens, borders, and containers. From June to August, it bears masses of beautiful, bell-shaped blue blooms on low, tidy mounds of green foliage. Reaching a height of 20 to 25 cm, it grows best in well-drained soil and is best suited for sunny or somewhat shaded areas. This long-flowering cultivar is ideal for edging walks or cottage-style gardens, and it draws pollinators like bees. Once grown, it is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and produces beautiful summer colour year after year.
Growing Instructions:
The hardy perennial Tussock Bellflower "Blue" (Campanula carpatica) is perfect for containers, borders, and rockeries. Seeds should be sown indoors between February and April for optimal results. Since seeds require sunshine for germination, gently press them onto the top of moist, well-drained compost; do not cover. Germination usually takes 14–21 days; keep at 18–20°C. Select a location with well-drained soil that is either sunny or partially sheltered. As an alternative, plant straight outside in late spring (May–June). In their first summer, plants usually flower from June to August. In order to extend flowering, deadhead spent blooms. Compact and low-maintenance, it blooms brilliant blue every year.
