4100x Carrot Touchon Seeds - Vegetable
Because of their outstanding quality and flavour, carrot touchon seeds are a favourite among farmers and gardeners. The Touchon cultivar, which originated in France, is prized for its vivid orange hue and sweet, soft roots. Carrots from these seeds are medium to long and cylindrical, making them ideal for cooking, juicing, or fresh consumption. Because of their high sugar content and crisp texture, Touchon carrots are especially prized in salads and gourmet cooking.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Carrot Touchon seeds from March to August. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from June to August.
