40x Melampodium Paludosum Melanie Compact Butter Daisy Seeds – Summer Bloom

Butter Daisy, also known as Melampodium paludosum Melanie, can add vibrant colour to your outdoor space. This little, bushy annual thrives in hot, dry weather and blooms all summer long with beautiful yellow, daisy-like blooms. It grows to a tidy height of around 25 to 30 cm, making it ideal for patio displays and tiny settings. It is also great for borders, edging, pots, or sunny beds. In contrast to the golden blossoms, the foliage remains lush and green. Butter Daisy is a great option for long-lasting colour because it is low maintenance, easy to grow, and resistant to pests and diseases. It also blooms continuously. From March to April, sow indoors; after the final frost, sow outdoors. June through October sees the appearance of flowers.

Growing Instructions:

From March to April, plant Melampodium paludosum Melanie seeds indoors in pots or trays with damp, well-drained compost. Because light promotes germination, gently press seeds onto the surface without covering. Seedlings should emerge in 7–14 days if kept at 18–22°C. When big enough to manage, move into separate pots and continue growing in a cooler environment. After the final frost (late May to early June), harden off and plant outdoors in broad sun and rich, well-drained soil.  Alternatively, when the soil has warmed up in late May, seed straight outside. Masses of vivid yellow daisy-like flowers will be produced by the plants between June and October. Although it's not necessary, deadheading will promote even more blooms.
