320x Nora Barlow Columbine Pink Seeds – Aquilegia vulgaris – Elegant Double Bloom

Use Nora Barlow Columbine Pink Seeds (Aquilegia vulgaris) to give your garden a classic beauty. This traditional perennial is renowned for its exquisite double pink blooms, which provide woodland settings, cottage gardens, and borders a charming, vintage feel. The delicate, nodding flowers stand out in any floral arrangement because to their intricately layered petals. Nora Barlow is a low-maintenance, easy-to-grow plant that can withstand full sun in colder climes but prefers partial shade. It blooms from late spring to early summer and likes soil that is healthy and well-drained. In addition to being beautiful, this species increases garden biodiversity by drawing pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Growing instructions:

Usually in late winter or early spring, 8–10 weeks prior to the final frost, sow Nora Barlow Columbine Pink (Aquilegia vulgaris) seeds indoors. Since seeds need light to germinate, gently press them into the surface of moist, well-draining seed compost without covering. Keep the temperature between 18 and 21°C; germination typically takes 14 to 21 days. After the last frost, move seedlings outside once they have hardened off with at least two sets of true leaves. In milder climes, pick a spot with well-drained, healthy soil and moderate shade to full sun. From late spring to early summer, Nora Barlow produces lovely double pink flowers that draw pollinators. Healthy growth and flowering will be supported by occasional feeding and regular watering.
