300x Dianthus Superbus Superb Pink Mix Seeds – Scented Perennial Cottage Flower

Dianthus superbus 'Superb Pink Mix', a gorgeous combination of delicate, fringed flowers in shades of pink, rose, and light lilac, will add classic beauty and fragrance to your landscape. This resilient perennial attracts pollinators, bees, and butterflies with its delicious, clove-like fragrance. It blooms from late spring to summer and may be deadheaded to rebloom, making it ideal for containers, cottage gardens, borders, and rockeries. It grows to a height of 30 to 45 cm and likes soil that drains well and full sun. From February to April, sow indoors; from May to July, sow immediately outside. In the first or second year, flowers typically appear. Perfect for trimming, naturalising, or enhancing garden beds and walks with a lovely touch. It is very gratifying, low maintenance, and simple to grow.

Growing instructions:

Dianthus superbus Superb Pink Mix can be sown immediately outside from May to July or indoors from February to April. Because seeds require light to germinate, gently press them over damp seed compost when sowing inside. Store between 15 and 20°C; germination takes two to three weeks. After the last frost, harden off and plant out seedlings that are big enough to manage. For borders, rockeries, or cottage gardens, pick a sunny, well-drained location. Once established, direct-sown plants can be trimmed. In the first year (if sowed early) or the second year, flowers bloom from June to September. To promote more blooming, deadhead wasted blossoms. It is a perennial with a lovely scent that comes back year after year with little maintenance.
