250x Onion Globo Exhibition Seeds - Grows Up to 1 Kg
Globo onions are well-loved for their enormous size, elegant appearance, and genuine flavour. The skin is a light straw hue with black veining and it has a mellow flavour that blends well with both raw and cooked foods. If planted in the spring, bulbs will weigh between 250 and 350 grams, but if you want to display these magnificent alliums at their 1 kg weight, plant them in the winter.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Onion Globo Exhibition seeds from January to April. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from August to September.
