Growing instructions:
To give Mimosa Pudica the warmth it needs to sprout, sow its seeds indoors between February and April. To increase germination rates, soak seeds in warm water for 12 to 24 hours prior to planting. Since seeds require light to sprout, use a light, well-drained seed compost and gently press the seeds into the surface without covering. Keep the soil between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius and keep it damp but not soggy. Typically, germination takes 7–21 days. After the last frost, move seedlings into individual pots after they have three to four genuine leaves and gradually adjust them to outside circumstances. Mimosa pudica blooms in the summer and grows best in full sun to light shade. Because plants are susceptible to freezing temperatures, keep them out of the frost.
