2100x Giant Basil Napoletano Bollosa Herb Seeds
The Giant Basil Napoletano Bollosa produces one of the largest basils and is the best for making Italian pesto, tastes great with fresh tomatoes, slices of mozzarella, and a drizzle of virgin oil. It makes the ideal side dish for a barbecue on a hot summer day. Many traditional Italian dishes start with basil and would taste bland without it. Basil and tomatoes go well together when eaten, but they also make a great pair when grown together since the scent of the basil repels pests, making it a natural companion plant.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Giant Basil Napoletano Bollosa seeds from February through to June. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from May to September.
