Lamb's Ear grows best in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, making it perfect for borders, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is ideal for both inexperienced and seasoned gardeners due to its low maintenance requirements and resistance to drought. The thick, velvety leaves are frequently utilised as a tactile accent in landscape designs and in sensory gardens. Plant seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before to the last frost or outdoors as soon as the risk of frost has passed. 

Growing Instructions:

Sow Lamb’s Ear (Stachys byzantina) seeds inside 8–10 weeks before the final frost, or directly outdoors when the risk of frost has passed. Since seeds need some light to germinate, use a seed-starting mix that drains well and lightly cover the seeds with soil. Make sure the soil is constantly damp but not soggy, and keep the temperature between 18 and 21°C. Usually, germination takes 14–21 days. Once established, lamb's ear can withstand drought and grows well in dry, poor to average soil. Soft pink flower spikes are produced during the late spring to early summer blooming season. To maintain the lovely woolly foliage and promote healthy development, remove wasted blossoms on a regular basis.
