200x Dandy Striped French Marigold Seeds - Tagetes patula nana - Annual Blooms
Use Dandy's vibrant and vivacious colours to liven up your yard. The petite annual Striped French Marigold (Tagetes patula nana) is renowned for its striking bicolour blooms that are deep mahogany-red and gold. These simple-to-grow flowers are ideal for edging, beds, borders, and pots because they grow to a height of 20 to 30 cm. In addition to providing a dramatic contrast to your planting plan, they also draw pollinators and help ward against common garden pests. They bloom from early summer until the first frost. Once established, this hardy annual requires little care and grows best in full sun and well-drained soil.
Growing instructions:
Sow From February to April, French marigold seeds with stripes are grown inside in seed trays or little pots filled with wet, well-draining compost. Without covering them, gently press the seeds into the surface; they require light to sprout. Within 7–14 days, seedlings should emerge if you maintain them at a constant temperature of 18–21°C. Harden off immature plants and move them outdoors into sunny, well-drained beds, borders, or containers, leaving about 20 cm between each other, once all risk of frost has passed (usually starting in late May). These small annuals provide bright, striped flowers with little maintenance and bloom from early summer until the first frost. Consistent deadheading will promote ongoing blooming.
