1700x Dwarf Snowball Flower Seeds - Tanacetum Parthenium – Double White Flower
The Dwarf Snowball Flower (Tanacetum parthenium), a compact variety yields dozens of tiny, double-white blossoms that resemble miniature chrysanthemums, will softly delight and add texture to your landscape. This tidy, bushy shrub, which reaches a height of only 20 to 30 cm, is ideal for rockeries, borders, edging, and pots. It produces a carpet of vibrant blooms from early summer to autumn and also makes durable cut flowers. It is low-maintenance and easy to cultivate; it requires well-drained soil and grows best in full sun to partial shade. It draws bees and other beneficial insects, making it perfect for pollinator gardens. From February to April, sow indoors; from April to May, sow immediately outside. Often grown as a pretty annual, dwarf snowball is a hardy perennial.
Growing Instructions:
From February to April, sow seeds of the dwarf snowball flower (Tanacetum parthenium) indoors in seed trays with damp, well-drained compost. Since seeds require light to sprout, gently push them onto the surface without covering. Keep the temperature between 18 and 20°C; germination usually takes 10 to 14 days. When the seedlings are big enough, move them into separate pots and let them grow in a sunny, cool environment. After the final frost, which occurs in late May or early June, harden off and plant outside. From June to September, compact plants with abundant double-white blooms are produced. Deadhead frequently to keep plants healthy and extend flowering.
