A remarkable wildflower, the Sky Blue Chicory (Cichorium intybus) is distinguished by its vivid blue blooms and sturdy growth pattern. Originally from Europe, this plant, which belongs to the Asteraceae, has since spread around the world, especially in North America. It frequently grows in open meadows, fields, and by the sides of roads, bringing some colour to the surroundings. Sky Blue Chicory is a beautiful addition to borders, pollinator gardens, and wildflower meadows when grown in the garden.
Growing instructions:
From September though to April sow thinly, 1.5 cm deep, into carefully prepared, well-dug, healthy soil that has already been watered. Typically, seedlings germinate within around 14–21 days. keep the plants well-watered. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Sky Blue ChicoryCichorium Intybus seeds bloom from June through to September.
