15x Geranium Colorama Mix F2 Seeds - Hardy Pelargonium For Containers & Beds

Geranium Colorama Mix F2, a colourful variety of Pelargonium zonale ideal for window boxes, garden beds, and pots, will provide colour to your outdoor space. From late spring until the first frost, this hardy, compact species blooms continually, producing a beautiful mix of colours, including reds, pinks, whites, and bicolours. These geraniums are well-known for their ability to withstand heat and drought, making them perfect for the summers in the United Kingdom. The plants produce bushy mounds of eye-catching foliage and persistent flower clusters when they reach a height of 30 to 40 cm. For optimal results, start seeds indoors between late winter and early spring. This F2 hybrid provides outstanding garden performance and colour uniformity. Excellent for giving patios and borders a timeless charm and colour that lasts throughout the season.

Growing Instructions:

Sow the Geranium Colorama for flowering in the same year, mix F2 seeds indoors in the UK between January and March. Fill little pots or seed trays with fine, well-drained compost. Apply a thin coating of vermiculite on top after gently pressing the seeds into the surface. Keep the temperature between 20 and 24°C; it takes 7 to 21 days for germination to occur. Move seedlings into separate pots as soon as they start to produce genuine leaves. Before planting outside following the final frost, usually in late May or early June, gradually harden off in April to May. Plant in containers or in a sunny, protected location with well-drained soil. From June to October, plants bloom, creating vibrant displays all year round. Regular deadheading encourages flowering. Avoid overwatering, especially in containers, and water sparingly. In the UK, treat them as half-hardy annuals.
