150x Globe Amaranth Strawberry Fields Red Seeds  – Gomphrena Haageana – Annual

Globe Amaranth "Strawberry Fields Red" (Gomphrena haageana) is a beautiful annual that blooms constantly from summer till frost. It is distinguished by its bright, strawberry-red, clover-like flower heads. In addition to being striking in the yard, these hardy blossoms are great for cutting and drying, keeping their vibrant colour in bouquets. Compact and bushy, they thrive in full sun and well-drained soil and reach a height of 60 to 70 cm. This low-maintenance flower is perfect for borders, beds, and cottage gardens since it is heat and drought tolerant and attracts bees and butterflies. Plant seeds indoors six to eight weeks before to the last frost or right outside after the frost has passed. Any garden or flower arrangement benefits from the striking colour, hardiness, and long-season appeal of "Strawberry Fields Red."

Growing Instructions:

Gomphrena haageana, often known as Globe Amaranth "Strawberry Fields Red," is a simple annual that grows best in full sun and soil that drains properly. In the UK, seeds should be sown inside six to eight weeks before to the last frost, from March to April. Because light promotes germination, sow on the top of moist compost and gently press in; avoid heavy covering. Keep the temperature between 20 and 24°C; it takes 7 to 14 days for germination to occur. Harden off seedlings and move them outside, 25–30 cm apart, after they have genuine leaves and the risk of frost has passed (late May to early June). After frost, direct outdoor sowing is feasible but less dependable. Globe amaranth produces bright red, clover-like blooms that are perfect for fresh or dried bouquets from July to October. It is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and a butterfly and bee magnet.
