A vibrant purple/red leafed cultivar with brilliant green stems known as Pak Choi Red F1 is eye-catching both in the garden and on a dish. It is a nice tiny leaf with a mild cabbage flavour that is simple to cultivate, slow to bolt, and quick to produce. The young leaves of pak choi Red Choi F1 can be harvested for use in salads, or they can be let to grow to full size and then added to stir-fries and pies.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Cabbage Pak Choi Red Choi F1 seeds from March to August for spring sowing and from September to October for autumn sowing. Thinly sow seeds into prepared seedbed (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart so that they have space to grow larger. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from 4 to 8 weeks from sowing.
