This creeping groundcover thrives in hot regions where nothing else grows, quickly forming a dense mat of silver foliage studded with a profusion of white blooms from late spring to July. Cerastium Tomentosum makes an excellent addition to alpine beds, dry slopes, and gravel gardens, but it can also be used to cover gaps in the front of sun-drenched borders.

From April to June, sow thinly, 1.5 cm deep, into carefully prepared, well-dug, healthy soil that has already been watered. Typically, seedlings germinate within around 14–21 days. keep the plants well-watered. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Flowering during April through to June.
