1300x Pink Rock Cress Seeds – Rosea Arabis Alpina – Perennial For Borders
Pink Rock Cress 'Rosea' (Arabis alpina), a low-growing, mat-forming perennial ideal for borders, rockeries, and slopes, will provide gentle colour and charm to your garden. Clusters of delicate pink flowers spread attractively across the ground as this alpine favourite blooms in early April. It grows well in full sun and well-drained soil and is easy to grow. This resilient plant thrives year after year with little maintenance, making it perfect for bordering pathways or bridging spaces between stones.
Growing instructions:
Sow the seeds of Pink Rock Cress (Arabis alpina 'Rosea') either outdoors in late spring after the soil has warmed up, or indoors 6–8 weeks prior to the last anticipated frost. Don't cover; light promotes germination. Gently press seeds onto the top of moist, well-drained soil. Germination takes place in 14–21 days, therefore keep the temperature between (18 and 21°C). This perennial is drought-tolerant once established and prefers poor to moderately fertile soil. In the second year following seeding, flowering usually starts in early to mid-spring and lasts for several weeks, with masses of delicate pink blossoms. Compact growth can be maintained with light pruning following flowering.
