120x Black Millet Sorghum Nigrum Seeds - Harvest Green or Brown - Hardy Annual
Black Millet Sorghum Nigrum, a hardy annual prized for both decorative appeal and usefulness, can help you grow an eye-catching and adaptable plant. They can be picked green for fresh arrangements or allowed to mature and be cut brown for dried displays. Once established, sorghum nigrum can withstand drought and grows quickly in sunny, well-drained soil. It is perfect for cut-flower gardens, wildlife areas, and garden borders because of its striking structure. This annual is low maintenance and easy to cultivate, making it perfect for gardeners of all skill levels. Black millet sorghum is a great material for floral arrangements and seasonal decorations, and it gives summer gardens height, texture, and rich contrast.
Growing Instructions:
From March to April, sow seeds inside in pots or trays filled with compost that drains well. Lightly cover the seeds with soil. Germination usually happens in 7–14 days if the compost is kept moist and kept in a warm, light setting at 18–22 °C. Alternatively, once the risk of frost has subsided, plant the seeds immediately outside in May. Plant seedlings 30 to 40 centimetres apart in a sunny, protected spot with rich, well-drained soil. Since sorghum is drought-tolerant once mature, water it frequently during establishment and only during extended dry spells. For fresh use, harvest the stems while they are still green; for dried arrangements, let the seed heads turn brown. This hardy annual grows quickly and gives borders and cut-flower gardens height, texture, and structure.
