1200x Clasping Coneflower Seeds – Rudbeckia Amplexicaulis – Hardy Wildflower
Clasping Coneflower (Rudbeckia amplexicaulis), a resilient, heat-tolerant wildflower indigenous to the southern United States, will bring vibrant colour and organic charm to your environment. This perennial, which blooms from late spring to early fall, is well-known for its vivid yellow petals and unique brown cone-shaped centres. Its long-lasting display draws pollinators such as bees and butterflies. They are perfect for borders, prairie plantings, wildflower meadows, and erosion control because they grow 1 to 3 feet tall and do best in full sun and well-drained soil. Clasping Coneflower is a low-maintenance, easy-to-grow flower that produces lovely blooms every year. With little effort, this hardy wildflower supports local ecosystems and adds a splash of golden colour to naturalised areas or pollinator gardens.
Growing Instructions:
Sow directly coneflower seeds outside in the early spring or late autumn. By allowing for natural cold stratification, autumn seeding enhances germination. Seeds should be cold-stratified in the refrigerator for two to four weeks prior to spring planting. Because light promotes germination, scatter seeds over well-drained soil in full daylight, gently pressing them into the surface. Do not cover. Keep the soil moist until the seedlings take root, which usually takes 10 to 20 days. Rudbeckia amplexicaulis grows to a height of one to three feet during its late spring to summer blooms. Because it reseeds easily, is drought-tolerant once established, and grows well in poor to ordinary soil, it is perfect for naturalised plantings and wildflower meadows. Year after year, this hardy annual offers bright, pollinator-friendly colour with little maintenance.
