11,000x Matricaria Recutita German Chamomile Mayweed Seeds - For Herbal Gardens
Matricaria recutita German Chamomile Mayweed Seeds are ideal for herbal and cottage-style gardens because of their delicate attractiveness and traditional herbal value. These seeds develop into fragrant, delicate plants with delicate, feathery foliage and tiny, daisy-like flowers with brilliant yellow centres and white petals. German chamomile is cultivated extensively for its calming scent, traditional herbal applications, decorative appeal, and pollinator-friendliness. It is ideal for gardens, allotments, and pots because it is quick to establish, easy to grow, and thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. This adaptable perennial has a lengthy flowering season and continuous blooms that are perfect for drying, herbal treatments, and peaceful garden areas.
Growing Instructions:
From February to April, sow your seeds inside in trays filled with fine, well-draining seed compost. Lightly press the seeds into the surface since they need light to sprout. Germination typically takes 7–14 days, so keep the compost moist but not soggy and set it in a light area at 18–20 °C. After the last frost, carefully move seedlings into individual pots after they have two to three genuine leaves, allow them to harden off, and then plant them outside. Plants should be spaced 20 to 25 cm apart in well-draining soil in a sunny or partially shady area. To promote continual flowering, remove any spent blooms and water often during dry times. This fragrant herb is perfect for herbal gardens, borders, or containers since it draws pollinators.
