10x Golden Yellow Lupine Seeds - Hardy Annual Flower - Lupinus Luteus - Vibrant
Golden Yellow Lupine (Lupinus luteus), a hardy annual prized for its eye-catching spires of bright yellow blossoms, will add a dazzling splash of colour to your garden. This quick-growing kind gives borders, wildflower meadows, and pollinator-friendly areas striking structure and vibrant colour. It grows 40–60 cm tall and does well in full sun and well-drained soil, which makes it perfect for beds or naturalised plantings. In addition to enriching your soil, these nitrogen-fixing plants draw butterflies and bees. For earlier flowering, sow seeds in the autumn or in the spring, following the last frost. Usually blooming from June to August, flowers make a vibrant summer display.
Growing instructions:
The hardy annual golden yellow lupine (Lupinus luteus) gives gardens bright, sunshine-yellow blooms. You may begin sowing indoors in late February or immediately sow seeds outdoors from March to May, when the soil has warmed and the risk of frost has passed. Lightly rake seeds into prepared soil, 20 to 30 cm apart, in a sunny, well-drained spot. Usually, germination takes 14–21 days. Because lupines prefer poor soils, water them sparingly and don't fertilise them excessively. June marks the start of flowering, which lasts until August and draws pollinators and bees. To promote longer blooming, deadhead spent blooms. Golden Yellow Lupine gives vibrant colour and texture to cottage gardens, wildflower meadows, and borders. To avoid mildew, keep young seedlings safe from slugs and make sure there is adequate air circulation.
