Known for its tall spires of vibrant blue flowers, the Blue Lupine (Lupinus angustifolius) is a charming annual that will add dramatic colour and graceful form to your landscape. In cottage gardens, wildflower meadows, and borders, these eye-catching blooms produce a lovely vertical accent as they ascend over lovely palmate foliage. Blue Lupine grows to a height of 60 to 80 cm and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It does especially well on sandy or poor soil. From late spring until summer, the blooms blossom, drawing pollinators such as butterflies and bees. Growing Instructions:
For summer blooms, sow Blue Lupine seeds outdoors between March and May; for earlier blossoms the following year, sow them between September and October.
