Walla Walla French Onion seeds, a popular onion variety, tastes sweet and has more crunch than tears. It has a milder flavour, is less fragrant than ordinary growing onions, and has less sulphur. Walla Walla French Onions can be used raw, roasted or baked to enhance the flavour of your salads and add a healthy dose of fibre to your home-cooked meals.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Sweet Onion Walla Walla French seeds from January to April. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from August to October.
