The sweetest carrot, with a particularly rich colour due to its high beta-carotene content. The long roots can be left to mature or picked young, and they are resistant to disease. It can also be left in the ground with minimal degradation and bolts slowly.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Baby Carrot Sugarsnax 54 F1 seeds from March to July. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from June through to January.
